The starting sounds almost hesitant and threw me off at first because of the title "Perfect Moments." I would have thought that the recording would sound very happy and excited to tell the story.

I do not agree with that policy because not everyone will always be committed to this days, months or years later. There are many cases where people who are suicidal have been saved before they could either follow through with it or they were saved when their attempts failed. These people have often been happy and have changed their lives around because it helped them realize that they're better than that and can take over their life. These phone calls are also evaluating off of questions that they ask and you use your opinion to determine if they should be taken seriously. They hear many cases everyday so they know what to listen for, They listen for certain trigger words but many people are different and use different words so for one person to say "I don't want to die, I want the pain to end," can mean that they're going to commit suicide but to another person that may mean they're not going to that night. The people in these situations may not even know what theyre trying to convey or how they feel about making the move so they shouldn't have to ask for help.

This podcast is incorporating real life experiences and feelings into the dialogue such as were doing in the research paper. As he is telling his story, he is also analyzing the information such as the "that is amazing" sign and what it meant to him.
