"Choosing a Topic Through Basic Research"

3. Commit to a Single Viable Topic

-There are many things that you have to consider before committing to a topic. One thing is if it's compatible with your assignment and you can have a good amount of evidence to support it. Another thing to consider is that you have to make sure that you like your topic enough to want to keep writing it and not giving up on it. A third thing is that you have to consider your deadline, research and sources also. The deadline makes a big difference on papers because if you have a short deadline, then you don't have as much time to put into procrastinating. You would have to make a plan and stick with that plan as you moved forward with your paper. You also need to be able to find sources that support your topic and ones that are reliable.

I think that all of this is very important to consider and it's often the cause of people not being able to get their assignment done on time or be able to get the grade they want. Before choosing your topic, research different choices and see which ones are the ones that you know of and have heard arguments for already. Choose something that you can make conversation about with others.

I haven't chosen a community to work in yet bit I'm thinking of along the lines of foreign affairs or a community that involves how people treat others.
